Keller Williams Memphis Gives Where They Live Helping Collierville Animal Shelter

Allison Pierce with Give Buy Selling, Keller Williams Memphis Sixth Annual "RED Day" Set to Lend a Hand in Collierville, Tennessee helping the Collierville Animal Shelter which is part of a community service initiative across the globe.


Keller Williams associates are stepping away from their businesses for one day on Thursday, May 8, 2014 and helping out those in need. Each year, associates with the Keller Williams Memphis choose to take time to "Give Where They Live" as part of Keller Williams RED Day. RED Day, which stands for renew, energize, and donate is an opportunity to have an impact on the community.



As part of the renew, energize, and donate effort, Keller Williams Memphis will be embracing the Collierville Animal Shelter. The Collierville Animal Shelter is an animal care and control agency that assumes a unique role in the community by promoting, motivating, and enforcing responsible pet ownership. Animal Services takes in about 1600 stray, abandoned, misplaced and unwanted animals each year. It spays/neuters every animal adopted. It investigates animal cruelty and abuse, and enforces animal control laws in Collierville. It provides a comprehensive pet adoption service and has an approximately 80% adoption rate.

"This year, we are embracing the Collierville Animal Shelter in an effort to increase adoptions and gain adoption awareness which will include a volunteer event at the animal shelter and a local supply drive," said Allison Pierce, a Keller Williams Memphis RED Day coordinator.

Keller Williams associates will be at the Collierville Animal Shelter from 12-4, as well as Hollywood Feed and Walmart in Collierville and conducting supply drives.
